NOV 4, 2017 – ENGINE 3, RESCUE 6, AND TANKER 10 ATTEND LIVE FIRE TRAINING IN ROLESVILLE

On an early Saturday morning, crews from Station 1 and 2 were invited to join the Rolesville Fire Department for a live fire training at an acquired structure. New Hope’s crews joined firefighters from Wake Forest Fire, Bunn, Youngsville, Northern Wake, Brassfield, Zebulon, Wendell, and Hopkins, and were able to able to get over 50 live burns from the house. We also took some readings with a small thermal imaging camera to see how hot it was inside (several readings were noted as being over 700 degrees). Our thanks to Rolesville and for allowing us to attend, and for Deputy Chief Price and Captain Webster for serving and instructors at the live burn.
